Little bit sad that they had to shut it down, especially so soon after its launch. Makes you wonder what went wrong exactly. A program which undoubtedly has taken a long time to put together potentially encoutered some unforeseen troubles?

Curious to see if they will revisit web3 at all

Don't think anything went wrong in the traditional sense, but hit scalability and efficiency issues is my hunch.

Why create a completely separate loyalty program vs. integrating into its established and gigantic incumbent loyalty program? And if you want to keep them separate, how do you scale that 100x at minimum (not to mention globally)?

IMO that's the unfortunate business reality :/ but maybe they do come back bigger and better than ever!
