from the history of 2020 I think that there are two types of communities:
- a community that was formed by referral links and points or bonuses
- a community that came purely for fun
the first type is doomed, the second type you described in your awesome work

Agreed. It's ok for there to be financial incentives, it's inevitable. But having it dominated by financial and persisting in that way is where it becomes an underlying issue
